1. Chemistry 11 CRA — Slide Deck (PDF)

On September 22nd, 2025, my colleagues and I presented our curriculum review assignment (CRA). The CRA allowed me to take a deep dive into the curriculum of any course within my primary teachable area. The assignment also allowed me to not only hone in on the content and the key concepts conveyed in the course, but the very important curriculum and supporting documents. This was a very valuable experience as it was my first experience dissecting such a vital document for a pre-service teacher and I have used the skills I developed from this assignment for many others since.

2. Chemistry 11 — Lesson Plan (PDF)

On October 27th, 2025, my colleagues that previously collaborated on the CRA with me, joined me again in presenting a lesson plan. We constructed the lesson plan for the same course that we created the CRA, Chemistry 11. This assignment allowed us to continue to use and grow the skills we used to scan the curriculum documents for important information, but with this assignment, we were able to delve into important content for the course more than on anything previous, and build a lesson that was informative, stimulating, and accommodating for multiple learning styles, and also incorporates technology.
